Tucked away on the picture-perfect Caribbean island of St Lucia, East Winds is a tropical paradise. One of the oldest and most established hotels on St Lucia, East Winds sits in 12 acres of mature gardens fringed by golden beachfront on the pristine La Brelotte Bay.
A world away from the glitz and glamour of many of the more modern resorts, East Winds has timeless charm, from afternoon tea in the Jasmine Room to the soothing sounds of the hotel’s very own Steinway piano as the sun sets. There are plenty of activities for the adventurous too: a dip in the free-form pool, guided nature walks, snorkelling and diving over the reef, or canoeing and kayaking in the calm waters of the bay.
Pretty pastel cottages are scattered amid the exotic gardens, providing just 30 guest rooms, each with a private terrace and a secluded setting. Superior Rooms are housed in the rondarels, while Deluxe Rooms occupy the newer garden cottages. Ocean View rooms are situated close to the beach and the Mini Suite features a separate sitting room and large private sun deck with extra outdoor shower. East Winds ­is a fully-inclusive resort which means that you not only get to sample some of the best gourmet dining on the island with your four-course dinner every night but free-flowing champagne is included too to make your evenings extra special.  The famed Flamboyant Room serves Caribbean and international cuisine in style, live piano, soft jazz and calypso make the evenings magical.
